Capri Cabinet

Fabio Di Bartolomei

The madia has ancient origins; the name madia comes from the Latin magida meaning kneading. Its use dates back to the Middle Ages when this piece of furniture was used to knead bread and store it once it was baked. Thinking back to it inserted into the contemporary has been fascinating.
